My wife and I make it a point to visit here every time we come to Ashland. Authentic Mexican food, as vetted by our Mexican friends. Friendly service. Very reasonable prices. Good, thick, spicy salsa with the complementary chips.

Visiting the area from TX and it's hard to find good Mexican that compares to home, but I will definitely eat here again!
Clean & bright colors. Radio plays music that is less traditional, more Americanized Spanish Pop/Rap. Friendly staff.
Chips & Salsa were impressive! Chips were light, fresh & warm. Salsa was flavorful (fresh garlic).
Sweet Tea was perfect.
Special La Casa was awesome. Beans & rice we're ok, a little bland compared to my usual Tex-mex.
We tried a dessert with a deep fried cinnamon sugar tortilla topped with ice cream - it was so awesome. Definitely recommend. -

Visited on a busy weekend and was seated quickly. We were greeted promptly by a really friendly lady. The salsa wasn't the best I've ever had. It lacked something that I just can't put my finger on. The food was really good and the environment was inviting. The staff was wonderful and because of that we'll visit again soon.

I'm from Los Angeles, raised in a Hispanic community. So, I can say that the food was mediocre at best. The service wasn't too good either. The salsa was bland. The guacamole was not fresh, but frozen and also blande. I ordered the shrimp fajitas that came with rice, refried beans, shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, sour cream and guacamole.
The shrimp was over cooked. There was burned onions and peppers on the plate. The flour tortillas had been microwaved and stuck together. Our waiter dropped off the food and never came back. Couldn't get a refill on my iced tea until an older man in a green shirt showed up. Was our waiter on break? No. We saw him taking someone else's order. Was it busy? No. Only 4 tables were occupied. We had to go to the register to get our bill also. The older man had to go to our waiter to fetch the bill. Just disappointed
